Let There Be Light and Let It Shine
They say just a little light can break through a lot of darkness.
My relationship to darkness has changed over the years. Growing up, I suppressed the darkness, the difficulty, I pushed through. Now I’m at a place where I want to be authentic with it. It doesn’t mean I blog about sad things often. The purpose of this blog is in large part to highlight the goodness that life has to offer. To pause and be grateful. To see art and beauty in places I may previously have taken for granted. To have a different, renewed perspective. To show up with more bravery and creativity in spite of the obstacles and difficult experiences.
On Hanukkah, candles are lit for eight nights to commemorate the rededication of the Temple.
Wishing everyone a heartwarming Hanukkah season and beyond—where the light shines through a little more, whether it be in special occasions or day-to-day interactions.

And know that the eight days of light gives us hope that we always have reserves to pull from when needed to light the darkness…
